With all of the factories, commercial buildings, lumber yards and older homes Northeast Ohio has to offer, lumber that would normally be thrown away is collected and transformed into an accent piece for any photo or art piece.
Turquoise, jasper, opal, and many other stones from around the world are used to inlay parts of the lumber. This gives the photo or piece of art being displayed an extra and unique feel. While stains are nice, using fire for wood treatment has been a real eye catcher.
Not only will reusing lumber that is old or simply disregarded as trash save space at landfills, it will allow you to own something that cannot be identical to another. With a fractal (Lichtenberg) design in the wood created by 10,000 volts of electricity, and finished with stone inlay, it is impossible to reproduce an exact copy. You will be collecting a truly, one of a kind.
